Registered Nurse PICU
Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Pediatric ICU (PICU)
Location
• Charleston, SC
Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, day shifts, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM), 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric patients in the PICU and float within all pediatric units including CVPICU, NICU, and PICU at a major healthcare facility
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and utilize critical care skills to ensure optimal outcomes
• Respond to emergent situations and provide life-support measures as needed
• Document patient information accurately and maintain comprehensive medical records
• Participate in holiday and weekend rotations to support continuous patient care
Required Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of Pediatric ICU (Peds ICU) nursing experience
• South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact license
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• PALS certification (American Heart Association)
Preferred Experience / Skills
• ECMO experience
• Certification or experience in CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy)
