• Nights, full-time, 4x12-hour shifts (Monday-Thursday, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare pump lines from perfusion for cannulation and assist during surgical procedures
• Support cardiac and vascular surgeries, including complex cases such as heart transplants, valve replacements, and endovascular repairs
• Assist with receiving and preparing perfusion pump lines for cannulation
• Collaborate with surgical teams during high-acuity procedures in a Level 1 Trauma Center environment
• Provide call coverage as required, including weeknights, weekends, and holidays

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiac, thoracic, vascular, or related surgeries
• Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center setting
• Certification in BLS and NBSTA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting)
• Ability to receive pump lines from perfusion and prepare for cannulation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with complex cardiovascular surgeries like TAVR, VAD implantation, TEVAR, and heart/lung transplants
• Prior experience in an OR supporting high-acuity surgical procedures
• Knowledge of vascular and thoracic surgical techniques
