- Santa Rosa, CA
Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Days shift, variable start times (7:00am, 9:00am; occasionally 7:00pm-7:00am)
- Variable schedule with primarily 07:00am–3:30pm shifts, some 09:00am–5:30pm shifts
- No weekend requirements
- On-call required (distributed every 6 weeks) among nursing staff, including nights, evenings, and weekends
- Possible float between units based on departmental needs
- Open to accommodating block schedules at management discretion
- Pending license accepted; local candidates preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care within the Operating Room setting
- Assist with pre-op, intra-op, and post-op patient management
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and efficient operations
- Document patient care accurately using the electronic charting system
Required Qualifications
- Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Valid RN license in California
- Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience in OR setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a busy hospital OR environment
- Familiarity with Epic electronic charting system
- Ability to adapt to flexible and variable schedules
