• Full-time, night shift, 36 hours/week, every other weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill medical patients in an ICU setting, including neurological, orthopedic, psychiatric, and renal emergencies
• Perform bedside procedures such as bronchoscopy, chest tube insertion, EGDs, colonoscopy, central/arterial line insertions, spinal taps, tracheostomies, and invasive lines
• Monitor and interpret invasive hemodynamic parameters, including Pulmonary Artery Lines/Swan-Ganz catheters, and manage complex patient needs
• Administer continuous IV sedation, procedural sedation, and ICP monitoring
• Support ventilator management, early mobility, and bedside invasive procedures as required
• Collaborate with healthcare team within scope to meet facility needs and adapt to floated assignments

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• WV RN license in hand
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• Invasive hemodynamic monitoring experience, including Swan-Ganz/hemisphere/cheetah devices
• Strong understanding of dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Experience with procedural sedation, ICP monitoring, and ventilator management

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with critical care monitoring equipment such as GE monitors, Baxter IV pumps, and Hilrom beds
• Experience with bedside invasive line insertions and procedural skills like bronchoscopy and chest tube placement
• Familiarity with Cerner charting system and critical care protocols
