Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in a Level 3 or 4 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Float between multiple units and facilities as needed based on skill set and hospital requirements
- Maintain appropriate patient ratios, typically 1:3 in NICU settings
- Respond to on-call standby requirements and participate in rotating weekend schedules
- Adhere to facility policies and clinical standards to ensure high-quality neonatal patient care
- Document patient care accurately in the hospital's electronic health record system
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience working in a Level 3 or 4 NICU setting
- Ability to float to various units and facilities as needed
- Must have reliable transportation for travel between assigned facilities
- Willingness to participate in on-call and weekend rotations
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience with Epic charting system
- Experience working with neonatal patients in short-term acute care settings
- Flexibility to float between multiple facilities including Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Seaside, and Saint Vincent
