Registered Nurse - NICU
Location: Lubbock, TX
Schedule / Job Type: Day shifts, full-time, permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) patients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
- Float between units as needed, including PICU and pediatric units.
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.
- Monitor patient conditions and adjust treatments accordingly.
- may participate in on-call rotation, with some weekend shifts required.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years NICU experience.
- Valid RN license.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced pediatric hospital environment.
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Experience with float assignments to PICU or pediatric units.
- Comfortable working in a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center.
