Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in the Medical ICU (MICU) unit at Wesley Medical Center.
- Manage patient treatments including CRRT, chemotherapy, bronchoscopies, EGD, central lines, and medication drips.
- Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with a team of 15 staff members, including RNs, charge nurses, and patient care techs.
- Utilize Meditech EMR for documentation and patient records.
- Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license with at least 2 years of ICU experience.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Able to perform procedures such as CRRT, chemo, bronchoscopies, EGD, and central line placement.
- Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and engagement.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Certification in NIH protocols or additional specialties.
- Experience with Meditech EMR system.
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
