Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
Location:
Brevard, NC
Schedule / Job Type:
Full-time, 13-week travel assignment, night shifts (7:45 PM – 8:15 AM)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency nursing care to patients in a 15-bed ER unit
- Monitor and manage patient conditions using telemetry, sheaths, and GTTs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Utilize Cerner EMR system for documentation and communication
- Support post-EP and post-cath lab procedures as required
Required Qualifications:
- Valid RN license and current BLS certification
- ACLS certification required
- Experience working in emergency or acute care settings
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Charge nurse experience
- Familiarity with telemetry and specialized ER procedures
- Ability to remain calm and flexible in fast-paced environments
