Job Title
• Surgical Technologist (Scrub Tech)

Key Responsibilities
• Assist surgeons during invasive surgical procedures by preparing and maintaining the sterile field
• Handle instruments, supplies, and equipment needed for surgeries, ensuring proper counts before incision closure
• Ensure the operating room environment is safe and functioning properly
• Maintain sterile techniques and assist with draping the sterile field
• Support in terminal cleaning of the surgical suite and instrument sterilization preparations
• Collaborate with and train new employees and students in the Scrub Tech role
Required Qualifications
• Completion of a recognized Surgical Technology program (Certificate or Diploma)
• Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting
• At least one year of prior surgical technologist experience preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Familiarity with various surgical procedures and sterile techniques
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
