Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult patients in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit.
- Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and implement treatment plans.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, respond to patient emergencies, and document care accurately.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Adhere to hospital protocols, safety procedures, and compliance standards.
- Work at least every other holiday shift, including rotating day and night shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing prior to travel.
- 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience, including travel experience acceptable.
- Active Ohio or compact state nursing license.
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a hospital setting with acute adult patient care.
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills.
