Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 13-week travel assignment, Night shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency care to diverse patient populations.
• Monitor, assess, and respond to patient needs in a fast-paced emergency department.
• Document patient care accurately using the Cerner system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to hospital protocols, safety guidelines, and patient experience standards.
• Support other sections of the ED as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.

Required Qualifications

• Valid registered nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an RN, with at least 1 year in an emergency department setting.
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, and ENPC certifications (or ability to obtain prior to start).
• Experience in a Level II trauma center or high-volume ED preferred.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and real-time coaching skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a comprehensive stroke center.
• Familiarity with HCA hospital systems.
• Ability to work across all areas within the ED, including behavioral and trauma sections.
• Experience working with a multicultural patient community and an emphasis on excellent patient experience.
