Schedule / Job Type
- Nights, Full-time, 36 hours per week, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to Labor and Delivery patients in a hospital setting.
- Perform IV starts and manage labor and delivery processes.
- Monitor patient progress using electronic medical records system.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum periods.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to coordinate care and ensure optimal outcomes.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience.
- Valid RN license.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
- Certification in NCC C-EFM or equivalent (acceptable in lieu of AWHONN Advanced certification).
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system.
- Experience with IV starts and managing labor and delivery.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience.
- Flexibility to float within units as needed.
