Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, day shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide bedside nursing care in the Operating Room environment for scheduled surgeries.
• Circulate during surgical procedures and manage patient needs in the PACU.
• Assist with orthopedic and C-section cases, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and support staff to ensure smooth surgical operations.
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, focusing only on designated tasks.
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech charting system.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BCLS, and PALS.
• Ability to handle C-section and orthopedic cases.
• Experience as a circulating nurse and with PACU procedures.
• Must be comfortable with float assignments within scope.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working in a short-term acute care hospital setting.
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic health record system.
• Willingness to work day shifts with weekend call responsibilities.
• Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility eligible for a differential rate.
