Full-time, day shifts, 3x12-hour shifts, Monday through Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Scrub and circulate for complex cardiac, vascular, general, and transplant surgeries, including CABG, TAVR, LVAD, Impella, valve repairs, heart and lung transplants, and more.
- Assist with intraoperative patient care, maintaining surgical sterility and supporting the surgical team.
- Be on-call, averaging 5-8 calls per month, including weekends and holidays, with potential for holiday call assignments.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including radiation safety procedures with provided badges.
- Utilize EPIC for electronic charting and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in South Carolina or multi-state license valid at start of contract.
- BLS and ACLS certifications through AHA.
- Ability to scrub and circulate high-complexity cardiac cases and general OR procedures.
- Radiation badge (to be provided by agency).
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of OR experience, specifically with cardiac and vascular cases.
- Experience working in a Level I Trauma Center, teaching hospital, or magnet facility preferred.
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic charting system.
