Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Medical/Surgical and Telemetry units.
• Monitor patient conditions, recognizing rhythm changes and implementing appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and execute patient care plans.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately in electronic medical records.
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Assist in the education of patients and their families regarding care plans and treatments.

Required Qualifications
• Valid Ohio or Compact state RN license.
• At least 18 months of recent permanent experience in Medical/Surgical and Telemetry units prior to travel assignments.
• Minimum of 18 months of recent Medical/Surgical/Telemetry experience (travel experience acceptable).
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safe medication administration assessments during orientation.
• Certification in ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate is required, with acceptable scores on assessments.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in a hospital setting with adult patient populations.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts and work at least every other holiday.
