Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
Location: Lewiston, ME
Schedule / Job Type: Nights, Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in the emergency department from admission throughout their stay
• Administer IV medications, therapies, and blood products as needed
• Provide patient education and support throughout the treatment process
• Document nursing care actions, observations, and patient responses accurately
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Maine
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum of 1 year of previous critical care nursing experience
• Prior experience in emergency or similar critical care settings required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous employment within hospital emergency departments or trauma units
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations efficiently
• Strong documentation and communication skills
