Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 13-week travel assignment, Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and implement patient care for adult medical/surgical patients.
- Ensure delivery of safe, quality care in accordance with unit standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare team, patients, and families to promote positive health outcomes.
- Follow established protocols and documentation requirements.
- Respond effectively to emergencies and patient needs.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited RN program.
- Current RN license in New Mexico or a Compact state.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience.
- Knowledge of patient rights and age-appropriate care.
- Strong communication skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification (optional but advantageous).
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting with adult patients.
- Ability to handle stressful situations and adapt to schedule changes.
