Travel, 13-week assignment, days shift (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in the medical/surgical unit.
- Coordinate and implement patient care plans according to unit standards and patient needs.
- Ensure patient safety and deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, physicians, and families to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, care, and progress.
Required Qualifications
- Current New Mexico RN license or valid Compact state license.
- BLS certification from AH A or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of patient rights and safety protocols.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients of various developmental stages.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification (optional).
- Experience working in a fast-paced hospital setting.
- Ability to handle emergency or crisis situations with composure.
