Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Location
• Maryville, IL

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 12-hour shifts, 1-year contract, first-time travelers OK, weekends as needed

Key Responsibilities
• Provide emergency care to diverse patient populations across all age groups, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Manage a variety of ED presentations, including trauma, medical emergencies, and complex diagnoses
• Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapies following all safety protocols
• Perform procedures such as central line care, phlebotomy, starting IVs, and sedation administration
• Interpret and respond to abnormal cardiac rhythms and other diagnostic results
• Follow all standard ED procedures, including isolation precautions and trauma protocols

Required Qualifications
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• One year of emergency department experience

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with ED medication systems and documentation systems such as Pyxis and MediTech
• Ability to interpret ABGs and manage complex patient cases in a fast-paced environment
