Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room setting.
• Assist with scrub and circulator duties for open-heart, vascular, thoracic, neuro-spine, ENT, ortho, robotic, and other specialty surgeries.
• Competently scrub independently for cardiac and open-heart surgeries, including endovascular, hybrid, and other complex procedures.
• Float between Belleville and Shiloh campuses as needed, adhering to facility guidelines.
• Maintain compliance with all hospital policies, including EPIC charting and BLS certification.
• Participate in call shifts, providing on-call coverage during evenings and weekends as scheduled.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in an operating room environment.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Ability to scrub independently for cardiac and open-heart procedures.
• Strong knowledge of OR protocols, infection control, and patient safety.
• Experience with EPIC charting system.
• CVOR experience required; general OR and hybrid OR experience preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in endovascular, neuro-spine, ENT, orthopedics, or robotic surgeries.
• Circulator role experience in the OR.
• Ability to float within scope and service line, with flexible adaptation to various surgical specialties.
