Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced respiratory care to all age groups, including ICU and ED patients, across various hospital units.
• Manage and operate critical respiratory equipment such as ventilators (Hamilton C3, T1, V60 NIV), Airvo 2, and Bubble CPAP, ensuring optimal patient support.
• Collaborate with Pulmonary Critical Care physicians and hospital staff to develop and execute patient-specific respiratory therapy protocols.
• Document all patient interactions and treatments accurately in the Epic electronic medical record system.
• Participate in bi-weekly orientation sessions and adhere to hospital policies, including documentation standards and equipment protocols.
• Work as part of a team providing 24/7 respiratory support and manage external transports for critical adult patients.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RRT certification
• AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in respiratory therapy, including pediatric and neonatal care
• Experience with Epic EMR system within the past 2 years
• Ability to work independently with self-scheduling and flexible availability

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel or hospital-based respiratory therapy experience
• Familiarity with trauma and critical care environments
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
