• Full-time, Night shift (4x12 or 3x12 nights, 1845-0645)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide orthopedic nursing care to patients in a 38-bed unit within an acute care hospital.
• Float within scope to other medical-surgical departments as needed.
• Manage telemetry monitoring and IV therapy procedures, including PICC line management and starting IVs.
• Document patient care accurately using electronic health record systems.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Support patient education and discharge planning processes.

Required Qualifications

• Active IL nursing license in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, ideally in an orthopedic or medical-surgical setting.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Ability to work every other weekend.
• Experience with telemetry and IV therapy necessary.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Telemetry experience is preferred.
• Cerner electronic health record system knowledge is a plus.
• Prior travel nursing experience is advantageous.
• Experience with PICC line management and starting IVs.
