Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele
Location: Belleville, IL
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Night shifts (12-hour nights)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide bedside nursing care to medical-surgical and telehealth patients in an acute care hospital setting.
• Float within scope to support different MS/Tele units, including Memorial Belleville and Memorial Shiloh facilities.
• Follow evidence-based protocols, including ERAS (Enhanced Recovery After Surgery), for surgical patient care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress in electronic medical records (EPIC).
• Adhere to hospital policies, including certifying competency and compliance regulations.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience; first-time travelers must have at least 3 years.
• Ability to work every other weekend.
• Experience with surgical patient protocols, specifically ERAS programs, preferred but not mandatory.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Previous experience in a Level 2 or Level 3 acute care hospital.
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system.
• Ability to work flexible hours within a block schedule if needed.
