Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages.
• Monitor maternal and fetal health, utilizing appropriate assessment tools and documentation systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective obstetric care.
• Educate patients and their families on postpartum care and newborn care instructions.
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Float within scope as needed to meet facility staffing needs.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid RN license (pending license accepted – license typically takes 6-8 weeks to issue).
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate certifications.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in labor and delivery.
• Ability to work on a 3x12 variable day/night schedule.
• Willingness to accept weekend shifts and participate in on-call rotations is not required.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Previous experience working in a level IV trauma or acute care facility.
• Familiarity with Epic charting system.
• Experience working with critical access hospital environments.
