- Days shifts, 4x12 variable shifts (day or night), traveler assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit within a Level IV Trauma, Critical Access Hospital setting.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes.
- Support patients through labor, delivery, and postpartum care, adhering to all clinical protocols.
- Float within scope of practice to meet facility staffing needs while maintaining patient safety.
- Document patient care accurately using electronic health record systems.
- Participate in on-call rotations and emergency response as required.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (applicants can submit without license in hand; license issued in 6-8 weeks).
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate certifications.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery or relevant setting.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, with weekend availability.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate rental vehicle (if applicable).
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a Level IV Trauma or Critical Access Hospital setting.
- Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
