Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele
Location: Garfield Heights, OH
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Night shift (7pm - 7am)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical and Telemetry unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including ECG rhythm recognition.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Complete required assessments and participate in orientation training, including ECG and medication safety tests.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Active Ohio license or compact state license in hand.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Willingness to obtain NIHSS prior to start.
• One recent reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty.
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments during orientation.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Recent charge nurse or supervisory experience in a Med/Surg/Tele unit.
• Familiarity with electronic documentation systems such as Lotus/Qualivis.
