• Full-time, 13-week contract
Key Responsibilities
• Perform sterilization and processing of surgical instruments in an outpatient surgery center.
• Ensure compliance with sterilization standards and infection control protocols.
• Maintain detailed documentation of sterilization procedures.
• Follow predefined schedules, typically Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
• Adhere to facility policies regarding time off requests, with approval for up to 40 hours.
• Work within a 50-mile radius of the location.
Required Qualifications
• Certified Sterile Processing Technician.
• Minimum of 3 years of sterile processing experience.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
• Strong understanding of sterilization procedures and infection control standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in outpatient surgery centers.
• Knowledge of surgical instrument management.
• Ability to validate sterilization processes and troubleshoot equipment issues.
