Job Title
• Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical/Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, 12-hour night shifts (rotating options available; including day/night rotations)
Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients with cancer diagnoses, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being
• Administer chemotherapy and monitor patients for adverse reactions
• Perform specialized procedures such as brachytherapy and CBI
• Implement infection prevention protocols and maintain patient safety standards
• Monitor telemetry readings, interpret dysrhythmias, and respond appropriately to changes in patient status
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in rapid response efforts
• Manage feeding tubes, IV therapies, blood products, and central lines using computerized charting systems like EPIC
Required Qualifications
• Registered Nurse (RN) license with a minimum of 2 years of Med Surg/Telemetry experience
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Experience administering chemotherapy and performing oncology-specific procedures
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy certification
• Experience working in a hospital oncology unit or similar healthcare environment
