Full-time, day shifts, 3x12s, weekdays with every other weekend, no call, float required as needed, no holiday RTO accepted
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to orthopedic and medical-surgical patients in a 29-bed unit, including adult through geriatric populations
- Monitor patients using telemetry while managing post-operative care such as joint replacements, fracture repairs, and kyphoplasties
- Collaborate with physical therapy to facilitate in-unit rehabilitation for patients
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, including punctuality and attendance standards
- Administer treatments, medications, and perform assessments according to protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license to practice in North Carolina
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting
- Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and orthopedic patient care
- Ability to work flexible days and adhere to strict schedules
Preferred Experience / Skills
- First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply
- Experience with total joint replacements, fracture repairs, or kyphoplasties is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of hospital protocols and patient safety standards
