Key Responsibilities
• Provide skilled nursing care to residents in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting.
• Float to different units as needed, including working with dementia patients.
• Assist with resident assessments, medication administration, and care planning.
• Work every other weekend and be available to work 2 of the 4 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Day).
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with facility protocols.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure compassionate patient care.
Required Qualifications
• Valid LVN / LPN license.
• Minimum of 3 years' clinical experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.
• Current BLS certification through AHA.
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
• Willingness to float to different units as needed.
• Experience working with dementia patients.
• Must have reliable transportation and be prepared for seasonal weather conditions.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous travel nursing experience.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
