Key Responsibilities
- Provide social work and therapy services to patients in an acute care setting.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Assist patients with emotional support, discharge planning, and resource coordination.
- Document patient interactions and progress in compliance with healthcare standards.
- Participate in team meetings to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all healthcare regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid state-issued social work or therapy license.
- Proven experience in acute care environments.
- Ability to work four weekend shifts per month.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working in a hospital or inpatient setting.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
