Respiratory Therapist

Location: Albuquerque, NM

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, 13-week contract, days shift, including weekends and holidays; float rotation within facility and to nearby locations within 20 miles; on-call required

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide cardiopulmonary diagnostic testing and respiratory therapeutic support for inpatients and outpatients
• Administer respiratory treatments and ventilatory support as prescribed
• Float between departments and multiple locations as needed, supporting department staffing
• Assist with emergency interventions in critical care and outpatient settings
• Support PresNow (UC/ED) locations as required
• Adhere to departmental protocols and maintain accurate documentation

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Graduation from an accredited respiratory care program approved by the CoARC
• NM Respiratory Care Practitioner License
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications through recognized agencies
• At least one 13-week prior travel assignment
• Minimum of two years current experience in a specialty setting
• Must be flexible, team-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• EPIC electronic health record experience (training available on-site)
• Prior experience floating within hospital departments and facilities
