Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients across cardiopulmonary, neurological, orthopedic, medicine, trauma, surgical, and oncology populations
• Provide direct therapy services to inpatient clients, considering discharge needs and functional status
• Educate and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members, recommending referrals to specialists as needed
• Delegate tasks to assistants and technicians, ensuring appropriate skill levels for interventions
• Complete accurate documentation in accordance with departmental policies
• Adapt to facility needs by floating within scope to different therapy service lines
Required Qualifications
• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience in therapy services
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience in inpatient rehabilitation settings
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends (required once every four weeks)
• Strong communication and interdisciplinary teamwork skills

• Role involves primary inpatient patient care at a short-term acute care facility with 1259 beds
• Parking options available on-site during orientation
