Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care to both pediatric and adult patients in a busy hospital setting.
• Assess patient conditions, develop care plans, and implement treatments according to hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Document patient information accurately using electronic medical record systems.
• Handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Required Qualifications

• Active nursing license with the ability to obtain or hold a license in Missouri.
• Minimum of 1 year of emergency room nursing experience.
• Certifications in ACLS, BCLS, NIH, and PALS are required.
• Ability to work every third weekend.
• Comfortable caring for both pediatric and adult patients.
• Willingness to float within scope, if necessary, to meet facility needs.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Level I or Level II trauma center.
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic charting system.
• Flexibility to work on a block schedule preferred but not required.
