Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) for various surgical procedures.
- Support surgeons and nursing staff during complex cardiac surgeries, utilizing specialized equipment.
- Assist with set-up, maintenance, and troubleshooting of surgical tools and devices, including advanced robotic systems.
- Float as needed to support other general OR cases, ensuring coverage across multiple specialties.
- Adhere to all patient safety and infection control protocols, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- BCLS and NBSTSA certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a surgical or CVOR setting.
- Ability to float to general OR cases and support a variety of surgical specialties.
- Experience with 2 Xi DaVinci robotic systems.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in cardiovascular or complex surgical environments.
- Familiarity with multiple surgical specialties excluding transplant.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-volume ORs.
