Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care primarily in medical surgical and telemetry units during overnight shifts
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, and respond to patient needs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient care
- Float within scope to other units as needed, excluding ICU, SDU, and ED
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Missouri or eligible to obtain
- BLS and NIH certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical or telemetry nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work every other weekend, including Saturday and Sunday shifts
- Willingness to work night shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in acute care hospital settings
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic charting system
