Job Title
• Therapist - Occupational Therapist
Location
• St. Louis, MO
Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, inpatient hospital setting, Monday through Friday, 0700-1530 (flexible start time up to 0800).
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with cardiopulmonary, neurological, orthopedic, medical, trauma, surgical, and oncology conditions.
• Provide direct patient care to facilitate recovery and functional improvement.
• Educate patients, families, and healthcare team members, including making appropriate referrals when necessary.
• Document therapy sessions and progress in accordance with departmental policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
• Assist in supervision and delegation to therapy assistants and technicians, ensuring safe and effective interventions.
Required Qualifications
• Current State Occupational Therapist license.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of therapy experience.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in acute inpatient settings.
• Ability to float within scope to various therapy service lines.
• Experience with EPIC charting and familiar with hospital equipment and supplies.
