Rotating shifts, full-time, contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level 3 or 4 NICU setting
• Serve as Charge Nurse, utilizing NICU Charge RN skills and expertise in delivery/resuscitation
• Float between units as needed based on patient and unit needs
• Participate in on-call standby rotations to ensure continuous patient care coverage
• Maintain appropriate patient ratios, typically 1:3, ensuring safety and quality care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate and deliver optimal neonatal care

Required Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in Oregon or current state licensure
• Experience in Level 3 or 4 NICU environments
• NICU Charge RN and delivery/resuscitation experience preferred
• Ability to rotate shifts and float to different units as needed
• Reliable transportation to multiple facility locations

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working with Epic electronic health records system
• Ability to adapt to various hospital environments and float to different facilities
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in high-pressure settings

• Floating to other units and facilities is common; optional hotels are provided for consecutive shifts at certain locations
