Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit.
- Monitor patient condition, administer medications, and coordinate treatments under physician orders.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality patient care.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and changes in condition.
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and compliance standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina or multistate compact license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- At least 1 year of experience with EPIC electronic health record system.
- Ability to float to other units based on assignment and competency.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry units.
- Flexibility to float across different hospital units as needed.
