Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric ICU patients, including those with complex diagnoses such as sepsis, stroke, AKI, respiratory failure, and electrolyte imbalances.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, interpret telemetry, and respond swiftly to emergencies, including managing dysrhythmias and titrating vasoactive medications.
• Administer critical medications, manage ventilator support, perform ABG analysis, and care for invasive lines such as arterial and central lines.
• Execute specialized procedures including bronchoscopy and maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and PPE use.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes in a 8-bed ICU unit.

Required Qualifications

• Active SC or multistate nursing license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Proficient in cardiac monitoring, IV therapy, and ventilator management
• Experience with arterial lines, central lines, and multi-system organ failure management
• Ability to interpret ABGs and administer critical medications

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 1.5+ years of ICU nursing experience
• Certification in critical care or emergency nursing preferred
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system
