Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients in an outpatient ambulatory setting.
• Assist with patient assessments, including interpretation of lab results, medication reconciliation, and vital signs.
• Set up and support procedures such as dressing changes and sterile or aseptic tray setups.
• Collect specimens including blood, urine, and throat swabs, and perform venipuncture/phlebotomy.
• Manage office duties such as processing pharmacy refill requests and performing telephone triage.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support psychosocial oncology, rehabilitative services, fertility and reproductive counseling, and survivorship care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in an outpatient or oncology setting.
• Experience with patient assessments and specimen collection.
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in oncology or ambulatory care.
• Knowledge of integrative oncology and survivorship programs.
• Ability to interpret laboratory results and perform medication reconciliation.
• Comfort with patient education and counseling.
