- Full-time, travel, 13-week contract, night shift
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to telemetry patients during the night shift.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to arrhythmias or other urgent conditions.
- Administer medications, IVs, and manage central lines and medication drips.
- Assist with procedures such as heart cath recovery and bubble studies.
- Document patient care accurately using electronic medical records (Meditech).
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Strong critical thinking and independent decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with central lines, medication drips, and heart cath recovery.
- Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically Meditech.
- Positive attitude, engaged personality, and strong critical thinking skills.
- Previous Telemetry nursing experience highly preferred.
