- Travel, 13-week contract, Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), On-site
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to telemetry patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.
- Monitor patient vital signs, medication drips, and perform procedures such as bubble studies and EEGs.
- Operate and manage medical equipment, including Kangaroo pumps.
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record system (Meditech).
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas or applicable state.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in telemetry.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience with medication drips, EEGs, and bubble studies is preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- NIH (Nursing Interventions Handbooks) certification or familiarity.
- Positive attitude, engaged personality, and flexibility to adapt to unit needs.
- Experience with Meditech EMR system.
