- Full-time, travel, night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency department patients in a fast-paced environment.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond swiftly to changes in their condition.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure effective patient care.
- Document patient assessments and treatment plans accurately in the electronic medical record system.
- Assist with emergency procedures and use GE monitors as part of routine care.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of Texas.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
- Proven experience providing excellent patient care in an emergency department setting.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a high-energy environment.
- Ability to float within the ED as needed.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with MediTech electronic health record system.
- Prior ED travel nursing experience.
- Familiarity with trauma patient management and high-acuity care.
- Adaptability to working 4 weekend shifts every 4 weeks with no call requirements.
