Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on a Medical Surgical unit within a Level I Trauma Center.
• Work 12-hour night shifts with a schedule of three nights per week.
• Participate in a 4-week schedule including four weekend shifts.
• Adhere to staffing ratios of 4-5:1, depending on patient acuity and staffing levels.
• Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for charting.
• Comply with hospital policies, including scrub attire of solid royal blue or white tops with royal blue bottoms.
• Maintain flexibility to float within scope as needed to meet facility requirements.
• Support emergency response efforts during hurricane season if required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid South Carolina or multi-state/compact RN license.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Experience in a Medical Surgical or similar acute care setting.
• Ability to work night shifts, including weekends, without call requirements.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma experience preferred.
• Prior experience working in a Magnet-designated hospital or teaching facility.
