Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients in an acute care setting
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and document care activities
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
• Valid registered nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical nursing
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
• Ability to work 7a-7p shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in oncology units or similar acute care specialties
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment

Additional Notes
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Schedule includes working two major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s) and one minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve)
