Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care in a Level II Trauma Center to a diverse patient population from neonatal to geriatric.
• Perform clinical duties including phlebotomy, IV starts, EKGs, and patient transport within procedural areas such as CT, IR, and MRI.
• Document patient care using Allscripts electronic charting system.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver timely and efficient emergency services.
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience in a Level II Trauma Center.
• Active ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
• Must have experience with STEMI, Stroke certifications, and working in trauma and emergency environments.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Ability to perform own phlebotomy, IV insertion, and EKGs.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a hospital with high-acuity emergency cases.
• Familiarity with Allscripts or similar electronic charting systems.
• Prior experience in a 24/7 emergency department setting.

• No RTO permitted during the first two weeks of assignment; maximum of 3 days RTO during the contract.
• RTO requests must be submitted with the initial application and are not guaranteed approval.
• Candidates must be willing to accept first-time traveler assignments.
