Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive postpartum nursing care to mothers and newborns in a hospital setting during night shifts.
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and assist with postpartum recovery and newborn care.
• Educate new mothers on breastfeeding, postpartum self-care, and infant care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the postpartum period.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in postpartum or mother baby units.
• Ability to work night shifts and travel assignments.
• Strong clinical skills in postpartum and neonatal care.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with maternal and newborn health in a hospital environment.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.
• Certifications such as BLS and NRP are preferred.
