Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shifts, 16-32 week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the telemetry unit.
• Monitor cardiac and vital signs, responding promptly to abnormal findings.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Assist with patient assessments and ensure compliance with clinical protocols.
• Support patient and family education regarding condition and treatment.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent hospital unit experience.
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NIHSS certification required prior to start.
• Epic EMR system experience from within the past 2 years.
• Experience at large, teaching hospitals is essential.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in neurosurgical or surgical units.
• Ability to work flexible scheduling, including every other weekend and holidays.
• Reliable transportation with all-season or snow tires for winter months.
