Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients in the emergency room setting.
• Assess patient conditions, prioritize care, and implement treatment plans according to physician’s orders and established protocols.
• Support patients of all ages and their families during medical emergencies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient procedures and treatments.
• Follow hospital policies and safety standards to ensure a secure environment.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Valid Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within one year of hire.
• Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) certification within one year of hire.
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification within one year of hire.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification completed within 6 months of hire.
• Emergency Severity Index Level 5 certification within 3 months of hire.
• Patient Sitter Competency Training completed upon hire.
• Active RN license from any U.S. state or territory.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous ER nursing experience preferred.
• Strong ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
